Refresh Student Ministry is Intentionally Designed for Middle and High School Students
This is a place where students can worship and hear teaching that deals with real, practical issues in the lives of students today. Our ministry is designed specifically to create lasting relationships. We believe that relationships, not programs, are what best grow students spiritually and emotionally. Our goal is to engage students where they’re at, walk with them as they grow, and equip them to help create life change in others through the message of Jesus Christ.
Our Wednesday night programming, we like to call it Refresh, is for students in 6th-12th grade. This is a service that is specifically designed to grow and develop students grades 6-12 spiritually and emotionally. This service includes food, games, a time of worship with a full band, a sermon related to a relevant topic, and a time of hanging out at the end. Services are in the Pointe, meeting 6:15pm-7:30pm during the school year.
Our current sermon series is called “Search.” Being a teenager is hard, mostly because this is the time when we have to find ourselves. The problem is, we often allow external voices sources to shape our internal view. This series takes a look at our self-identity, beginning with the all-too-often truth that we often look for the right things in the wrong places.
Come join us every Sunday morning in The Pointe for our Small Groups, we like to call them ReGroup. Our ministry firmly believes in the principle that circles are better than rows, meaning that the most meaningful and uplifting relationships are built through a small group. In this time, students have the opportunity to create relationships with students and staff, as well as dig deeper into God’s Word through an age and gender specific Bible study.
